For comparative purposes, an uncoated glass window with negligible absorption losses only transmits approximately 92% of the light due to reflection loss (4% reflection loss from each glass/air surface). Our VIS-BBAR coating reduces reflection loss to less than a 0.5% average from 425-675nm per surface, resulting in superior light transmission.
